1.1. Installation#

The installation file and the required license can be obtained from your TOPOFLIGHT supplier.

1.2.1. Information about the current license#

NAVIGATOR software is protected by a software key from Thales Sentinel. This key is supplied by your software provider. A free 10-day demo license can be obtained from TOPOFLIGHT company.

In releases from 2026 onward, direct license updates can be made via the TOPOFLIGHT License Server.

1.3. Startup overview#

When launching the NAVIGATOR, three separate windows open simultaneously:
the operator display (main interface), the pilot display and the SensorHandler window.

1.4. Project selection#

At startup, all active projects are listed in the main window (operator display). Each project includes a quick status overview visualized as a sunburst diagram, indicating the progress of the project.

Hint

Projects and missions can now easily be udated by exchanging .TFX files. Simply use the respective import and export options in the project menu!

Flown: percentage of images/flight lines that have been taken (also indicated by the number in the center of the diagram)
Reflight: percentage of images marked for reflight
Warning: percentage of images captured with warnings (e.g. blurred images)
Error: percentage of images with errors
Not flown: remaining percentage of images (not flown or unknown)
