7. Checklist

7.1. Start RiAcquire and Applanix

Step 1

1. Start RiAcquire and Applanix.

2. When Applanix has GPS and IMU data go to POSAV / Settings / Yaw / Drift correction.

   
   Click either

   ON (unfreeze) to check that the mount is changing to STAB mode

   OFF (freeze) to go back to MAN mode

3. Click the Apply button

7.2. Start TOPOFLIGHT NAVIGATOR software

Step 2

1. Start TOPOFLIGHT NAVIGATOR.

2. Open the project to be flown.

7.3. Change to SensorHandler

Step 3

1. Click on the Applanix and on Riegl buttons to initiate the communication.

2. Make sure all buttons turn green.

   

7.4. Check Applanix coordinates

Step 4

1. Click on the Applanix button.

2. Mark Show values with a tick.

3. Check if the coordinates and altitude are being received.

4. Check if Geoid sep. has a value and orthometric altitude is shown (if no Geoid separation is received the altitudes will be GPS altitudes on the ellipsoid).

5. Unmark Show values option.

   

7.5. Check RiAcquire

Step 5

1. Click on the RiAcquire button.

2. Make sure automatic mode / change between initialize / working / logging is set.

3. In RiAcquire, change from initialize to working and back to initialize.

   Important

   Make sure this is visible in the RiAcquire dialog!
