Getting started
===============

Requirements
------------

* Windows 10 or higher
* Valid |Company Software name| license (hardware or software license)


Installation
------------

|Company Software name| may be installed on any computer.

The |Company Software name| license dongle must be inserted in a USB port of the PC running |Software name| or the software license must be installed on a local machine or on a company license server.

    Download the `latest version <https://app.topoflight.com/rest/releases/MISSIONPLANNER/latest/filter/TOPOFLIGHT/data>`_ of |Software name|.


.. topic:: To install |Company Software name|:

    #. Run the setup file provided by |Company name| and follow the instructions in the setup wizard.
    #. Insert the |Software name| license USB dongle into a USB port or activate your software license.
    #. Run |Software name|.

    #. The first time you run |Software name| you will be prompted to select a path for storing the SRTM elevation data. You can change the location of this directory later in the :ref:`Elevation data settings <elevation-data>`.

    If your machine does not recognize the license:

    1. Install the `HASP Sentinel Gemalto driver <https://cpl.thalesgroup.com/software-monetization/sentinel-drivers>`_ .
    2. Run the setup program installed with |Software name|, located in the |Software name| program group.
